Silent Trauma: Response to the Health Emergency Affecting Cambodian Refugees in the United Stated

Khmer Health Advocates and Brown Medical School will host a public awareness seminar on the current Cambodian Health crisis.
The forum will be held at Brown University and will include an overview of the Cambodian refugee community. Discussion topics include:
Health issues affecting Cambodian-Americans Medical approaches to treating victims of trauma and torture Cambodian concepts of health Type 2 diabetes in Cambodian refugees Integration of Eastern and Western health approaches.
A strategic meeting with Cambodian leaders will be held directly after the public awareness forum.

This event is limited to 120 people.
